Every PocketPetal badge and how to earn it

116 badges to collect, from your first catch to a 1,000-day streak. Here's what each one asks of you and the XP it pays.

There's nothing to sign up for. Badges turn up on their own as you play, and their XP goes straight onto your total. Most come from catching plants: new species, long streaks, plant types, seasons and odd hours. A few come from friends and sharing.

In the app, your badges are on your Profile, under Recent Badges. Tap See all for the whole collection.

83 of the 116 are also Game Center achievements, and Game Center keeps two leaderboards: species collected and longest streak. The rarity, subscription, referral and anniversary badges stay in the app, along with Perfect Shot and Citizen Scientist. Game Center is off in kid mode.

One badge is a secret. We've left it blank below, so you'll find out what it is when you earn it.

Catch at least one plant a day, by your local clock, to keep a streak going. A streak freeze covers one missed day, and freezes refill every week. Longest streak is also a Game Center leaderboard.

PocketPetal rarity badges

Every catch rolls a rarity from Common to Mythic, with the same odds for every plant. These badges count the species in your collection by the best rarity each one has rolled, so they come down to luck. A re-catch that rolls higher moves a species up. They say nothing about the plant itself. How rarity works
